SERVICES of the Restorative Justice Project of FPU1. VORP Organizing and Program Manual.Based on the Fresno Model, this manual leads one through the very critical stages from idea to first case. It includes organizational development, case management, restitution/case follow-up, volunteer recruitment and training, financial management, "Sustaining Friend" programs, and much more. Included is a disk which allows developing your own program manual, letters, forms, etc. 2. "How to Start a VORP" training.Intensive three day training based on the VORP Organizing and Program Manual (see above) includes hands-on training at VORP office and observing VORP meetings. Seminars are offered each spring, summer, and fall. Call 1-800-909-VORP to register. 3. VORP Director in Training Program.This program combines a personalized reading/discussion and training program, case work (at least 15 joint meetings), and hands on experiences with all aspects of operating a VORP program, including presentations, liaison with criminal justice system, etc. Three to six month programs available. 4. Annual Restorative Justice Conference.RJP coordinates an annual conference for sharing information and ideas between restorative justice programs, involving pioneers and key persons of the field as speakers. 5. California VOP Gathering.For many years we have hosted gatherings of California victim offender programs. This activity is supported in part by a grant from West Coast Mennonite Central Committee. 6. Discipline that Restores.Restorative Justice Principles applied to school and work settings. 7. Restorative Justice Framework Implementation.Assisting organizations in implementing the Restorative Justice Framework originally developed for public and private organizations in Fresno County, California. 8.
